At the Hotel Maria, the winter is season of wondrous beauty lasting from early-December till mid-April. The hotel is situated in an area with guaranteed snow, at a sunny location with a splendid panorama at 1,550 meters elevation.
It's only a few steps to the ski lift – the valley station of the Obereggen / San Floriano Ski Center Latemar. 50 km of slopes and 17 aerial cableways and chair lifts at 2,500 meters above sea-level mean perfect skiing, carving, and snowboarding pleasure. And of course children under 8 years of age can ski here the whole winter through free of charge.

Guaranteed Snow from early-December till mid-April
The Obereggen / San Floriano Ski Center Latemar, located in the Dolomiti Superski area, is among the most-attractive ski areas in South Tyrol, with reliable snow conditions and guaranteed snow. Winter starts in early-December, and the ski season lasts until far into Easter. The altitude (1,550 to 2,500 meters above sea-level) and high-performance snow machines together with excellent slope grooming ensure outstanding ski conditions. With numerous ski huts with first-rate kitchens and typical South Tyrolean entertainment programs, you'll always want to stop by for a refreshment and a little fun.
Snowboarders have their specially prepared boarder cross areas and their own snow park.
Everything is rounded off with night-time skiing three times a week.
